"Pining" rhymes with "Whining!"

I've got to say it! It's 1:30 in the morning and I'm supposed to be asleep, but this is just getting ridiculous--

Anyone who goes to BYU to for the sole purpose of finding a mate is ridiculous, and anyone who updates their social-networking-site-of-choice status constantly about how their brilliant plan of finding said mate is failing, in one way or another, is even more ridiculous.

The sad thing, in my opinion, is that the majority of these people are young men--yes, you! Even better is that they're young men who still have yet to serve their missions or have opted not to go on one. For the first case--why are you so worried?! "I want someone devoted to writing to me on my mission" doesn't work anymore because you can't tell me that you don't have friends and family! And the only relationship you should really be focused on building up during those two years is the one between you and God anyways, in my humble opinion. To the latter: seriously? Of all places to flaunt your non-RM status, you pick BYU?! You're ASKING for the pain and misery of not having someone to cuddle with.

That's not to say that everyone deserves someone and blah, blah, blah, Leah is such a man-hater. Also, not all Cougars are there to find a mate, or so they say. Though secretly they are, but they lack more gall than the ones who are open about their intentions.

Be patient. There is a Plan and 10,000 more things you can do in the meantime, only one of which being whining on your Facebook.

Random (And I'll say so a lot...)

So, I randomly searched for Jayne Cobb on IMDb, so I could see what he actor's name was and see what else he's done, cause sometimes actors are typecasted so the other stuff they've done is like the stuff they're famous for. Well, he's done a lot of varied roles, so that theory went out the window and I randomly clicked on "Serenity: The 10th Character" which was a documentary about the ship, and from there I randomly clicked on Alan Tudyk, again to see what he's done. And guess what! He's going to be in ABC's "revamped" series "V." As in V, the original mini series, than movie, than TV series about humanoid lizard aliens. Classic. So I was like "YAYYY!!" and had to search for the trailer and watch it. Well, half way through I got even happier when the voice of the alpha alien chick sounded really familiar... Hmm, is that Inara?! Yesss.

Here is the link to the trailer. Wash can be seen @ 2:52 as an FBI agent, and Inara shouldn't be that hard to spot. :D

I love SciFi. Not SyFy. WTF?!

Weekly/Daily Websites:

I love them.

I read my blog roll as soon as I notice someone has posted, and then there are a few others that I have in my bookmarks that I check at least once or twice a week because they don't post everyday, usually. That, in combination with Facebook/Twitter (I've tweeted a total of three times and use it just to stalk Al Gore nao), photo-editing sites, IMDb.com and random Wikipedia and Google searches, is as exciting as my internetz life gets.

So thats why I'm drawn to websites like icanhascheezburger.com (which has tabs for loldogs, failblog, graphjam and more), postsecret, FOUND and now... Ugliest Tattoos.

It's aptly sub-titled as the "Gallery of Regrets" because there is no way someone would actually want to have "I'm awsome" on their back forever, let alone the nazi-unicorn they got last night while they were on an acid trip... It makes me happy to see other people's stupidity drawn in permanant ink on their body. You should know that the liklihood for sexually explicit tattoos are very high here...be warned.

You may not be her first, her last, or her only. She loved before she may love again. But, if she loves you now, what else matters? She’s not perfect - you aren’t either, and the two of you may never be perfect together, but if she can make you laugh, cause you to think twice, and admit to being human and making mistakes, hold onto her and give her the most you can. She may not be thinking about you every second of the day, but she will give you a part of her that she knows you can break - her heart. So don’t hurt her, don’t change her, don’t analyze her, and don’t expect more than she can give. Smile when she makes you happy, let her know when she makes you mad, and miss her when she’s not there."

Comment Moderation

I need an independent third party to patrol my thoughts and feelings. Their job is to only allow the important ones--the not petty ones--get through to the right people. They have to be willing to listen to all ranting without passing judgment on me. I won't even ask them to give me their opinion beyond what I should say and not say!

And most importantly--I want them to want to know the full content of this post.
